After moving to germany ,this is probably the first german recipe which i'm making.Streuselkuchen is a traditionalgerman yeast cake filled with a crunchy topping. This recipe is for the  'Bake Off Event' By ' Stories from an Indian Kitchen'.

4 peaches stoned and halved
For the topping:

Method:
Combine flour, sugar, salt and yeast.Mix together egg, milk and melted butter.Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and knead it together to make a smooth dough.Cover the dough and allow it to rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Grease a 25 cm springform cake tin.Take the dough, punch the air back, roll the dough into a circle to fit the tin.Slice the peaches and arrange it on top of the dough. For the crumble topping mix all the ingredients together to make it crumbly. Sprinkle the topping on top of the peach slices.Cover the dough and allow it to rise for another 30 minutes.
Meanwhile Preheat the oven to 190 degree celsius.Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until evenly golden. Leave it to cool in the for a few minutes, then turn it on a wire rack to cool.
