Cooking With Seeds- Nigella Event Roundup

Hi Everyone,
Cooking with seeds event roundup is online now. My big thanks to everyone who shared your fabulous and creative recipes for this event. You can have lots of recipe ideas for nigella seeds from this event.
I would also like to thank Priya of Priya's Easy N Tasty Recipes who gave me this great opportunity of hosting this wonderful event.
I received some delicious recipes from all our creative food bloggers, I also received one entry from one of my non blogger friend from Germany. Thank you Aysha for sharing with us your recipe.
So I'm starting the event from our non blogger friend
Honeycombcake from Aysha- Germany

Ingredients:

White flour- 500 g
Yeast- 20 g
Sugar- 90 g
Salt- 1/2 tsp
Milk- 200 ml ( at room temperature)
Butter- 100 g ( softened)
Orange flower water- 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
Goat's cheese- 200 g
Egg white- 1 ( to coat)
Black cumin seeds- 2 tbsp
Honey- 4 tbsp ( mild warm)
Optional:
1 whole egg+ 1 egg yolk

Preparation:

In a large bowl, sieve the flour. Form a crater and add cardamom powder, orange flavor, salt,
sugar and yeast. If using eggs, add the whole egg and egg yolk too. With your hands, knead the
dough with gradual addition of milk for about a minute. Add the butter now and knead well.
Adjust the amount of milk as needed. Knead until the dough becomes a little elastic and shiny.

Place the dough in a warm bowl, cover it with a towel and allow it to rise. Wait until the dough has
become almost double its size.

Now, press the dough and knead slightly. Take walnut sized balls out of the dough and press it little
flat with your fingers. Stuff about ½ Tblsp of cheese inside and close it again into a ball. Arrange these
cheese stuffed balls in a well buttered form. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Coat the balls with the egg white (or olive oil) using a baking brush, and spread the black cumin seeds
generously above them. Bake for about 20-25mins.

When the bread is still hot, baste with mild warm honey.

The bread tastes best, when eaten warm. The seeds, together with the sweetness of honey and
sourness of the cheese give these balls a heavenly taste. Enjoy!!

Thank you Aysha for sending this delicious cake.
